Time for CDROM

All of the models in the images on this site worked on a Time For Prints (TFP) or Time For CDROM basis with me, where the model received copies of the pictures in exchange for the time modeling.

As far as the photography I do with models, it is almost exclusively Time For CDROM.

This means we do photos, and I don't pay you and you don't pay me. I find this benefits the people I work with, and myself, more than charging for photography would.

After I photograph you, I will give you a CDROM with all the images I shoot of you on it. This can be anywhere from several dozen to a couple of hundred images. I shoot both with digital and film cameras. The film is scanned to digital format when it is developed. These film scans, and any digital images I've taken, go on your CDROM. You are free to get prints made of any of the images on the CDROM, or use them on a web site to promote yourself, etc.

Why do I do this? Because instead of paying me, I think it's a better use of your money to print images for your portfolio. I get incredible joy from making images. Why should it stress you out to have to figure out how to pay for them? If it benefits me to have a model to work with, I think it should benefit you to work with a good photographer.

So I do it this way. The only thing you cannot do with the images is sell them as your own to make money off of them.
